The Bermuda Massage Therapy Association is a group of individuals who have chosen the massage therapy profession. All our members have earned a Diploma in Massage Therapy, meaning they attended a massage school and completed a program of 750 hours or more. Many of us have continued our education in health care with courses in advanced techniques and modalities. In Bermuda, Massage Therapy is currently an unregulated profession, but we are working hard to move toward regulation. We believe massage therapy can play an integral role in the therapeutic healing of trauma and injuries, supports overall wellness, and is therefore very valuable in the health care system.
