To be considered for membership, you must have completed an accredited massage therapy program. Qualifications from beauty therapy schools or a combination of massage workshops are not acceptable. Additionally, years of experience do not equal certification.
- Completed application form.
- Graduation from an accredited Massage Therapy Program: 750 clock hours – with the following breakdown:
Applicants must provide transcript and diploma.
- at least 125 clock hours of body systems (anatomy, physiology and kinesiology);
- at least 200 clock hours of massage and bodywork assessment, theory and application, in-class and supervised;
- at least 40 clock hours of pathology;
- at least 10 clock hours of business and ethics including a minimum of 6 hours of Ethics;
- and the remainder hours in related education.

6. $50 Non – Refundable application fee.
7. $50 Initial Membership Dues
Membership Renewal Requirements:
- Annual dues $100 (Initial dues are $50)
- Current First Aid and CPR training – submit certificates if updated (Bi-Annual).
- Current SCARS training – submit certificates if updated (every 3 years
- 24 CEU every 2 years – 12 CEU must be hands on training.
- Signed Code of Ethics, Conduct and Practice.
