In order to help new students into the profession of massage therapy the BMTA has created a list of massage therapy program in the US. If you wish to attend a school in Canada you will meet all of our requirements as the programs are generally 3 years and very comprehensive. In the UK it’s a little harder to meet our requirements, so if you are set on attending a school in the UK please check with us before you apply to make sure you will be able to join the BMTA once you graduate.
Below is a sample of schools, there are many more to choose from. Most of the school listed below range from 625-1000 hours which equates to 6 months to 1 year. If you decide to attend a school with less than 750 hours you will need to also register for a few workshops while attending school to achieve a total of 750 hours. If you want to be eligible for membership to the BMTA we advise you attend a school with no less than 625 hours.

The cost of massage school ranges from $8000- $15,000. Other student expenses include text books, massage table, sheets, oils, and workshop fees/advance trainings.
